You can change the look of your headband by changing the length and width of the ribbon used. You are only limited by the extent of your imagination. Have fun!

DIY Bow Headband
One thing that really grinds my gears is finding a cute accessory that does not come in the color(s) that I need. That is the main reason I started making my own. Here is a quick tutorial and how you can make your own bow headband:

Accent Wall Progress So Far
This is just primer. I didn't know that the hardware store tints it the same color as your main paint. Pretty cool.
Already, the neighbors are loud and irritating. I like quiet, and they're screaming and hollering over some stupid sporting event on TV... now that's a license to play my music in a regular way.

DIY Head Wrap
I may not have long tresses going down my back (yet) but sometimes I still have a hard time fitting all my hair under my bonnet. I decided to do something about it the night I spent 15mins trying to tie my hair down for the night. I do have a satin pillowcase but I sleep so wild that sometimes I wake up to find the pillow on the floor or the (cotton) covers pulled over my head. I like my sleep and I like to be comfortable when I sleep. I started thinking about women that wear head wraps all day everyday...those have to be comfortable. Mixtress Moment: Holding Cream
After not being happy with the performance of many gels and trying to avoid the alcohol content in them. I came up with this:
2/3 cup of Suave Tropical Coconut Conditioner
2 tsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Sweet Almond Oil
4 tsp Honey
The conditioner can be substituted for a scent or conditioner of your choice, just be sure that it is not to thick. A thick conditioner may leave too much residue on your hair.
I a little bit of every hair type on my head and then held the style in each area. This mixture has become a staple in my product stock.
Tip: If you have an essential oil scent that you just love, use a plain scented conditioner and add a few drops of the EO for a nice smelling holding cream.
