Fabiola Bernard , owner and designer of Younikness,  founded the one of a kind, handcrafted accessory line in January 2010.

RE: Flowers From Fatima

I did a post a while back on a young lady by the name of Fatima. At young age of 21, she has created her own business. She creates beautiful handmade flower accessories.  I was so impressed by this young lady that I wanted to support her business. So my shipment came in yesterday, and I love my flowers. Check it out:

I also got a really cool t-shirt that says "Where there are flowers, there is life", and it fits perfectly!  I love my items from Fatima's Etsy Shop.

I meet Fatemeh, creator of Fatemeh's Jewelry and Accessories at the San Francisco Natural Hair Event I attended in SF last month. I had a chance to see her beautiful handmade collection of earrings and hair accessories. I received my pair of beautiful blue crocheted earrings from Fatemeh last week, and wanted to share it with you. I think they are so cute and very unique!  They definitely stand out from any other earrings that I own.  To see more of Fatemah's collection, check out her Etsy Store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/fnggrant

"Hairings" from Sheebaz!!! Very cool....

Sheebz Belgrave created an interesting pair of earrings made from two loc's! What a cool and unique idea...  This is the comment I left for Sheebz on her facebook page regarding these earrings:

" Even when broken loc's fall, I can not let them go. What a great way to preserve the beauty that grows from our crowns." ~ Karen

Flowers From Fatima

I think it is absolutely amazing when we see young entrepreneur's who have already started businesses for themselves and doing something positive and productive with their time. Fatima Spencer, age 21, created Flowers From Fatima.  Her esty store has a colorful collection of handmade floral Accessories for all occasions. The are various designs for both woman and young girls.
"I truly look forward to inspiring trends and sharing a classic look with others ... One of my main goals is to, not only beautify women, but make them feel good about themselves while connecting them with a reflection of Mother Nature's gift, which is the flower."   ~ Fatima
