Hair Tip #17: Chopsticks

I LOVE high buns.
     I LOVE low buns.
         I LOVE curly buns.
             I LOVE sleek buns.

And with my buns,

I LOVE CHOPSTICKS!!

I only own one pair of black. I think the plain ones look very classy.

 But they do make many chopsticks with embellishments.

 If you find some plain ones, you can embellish them on your own.

All you need is a hot glue gun and creativity.

How do they look in a bun??

Introducing, the BEST Winter Modest Additions

I am LOVING keeping my hair protected this winter season. It has been pretty chilly and so far we have been getting a whole lot of rain. Which I love!!! In the post I wrote about preparing your hair for the winter, one of the suggestions I made was to keep your hair covered. Well I have really been doing that. About 4 out of the 7 days of the week on average, my hair is in a protective style AND it is covered up! Here are some ideas of awesome things to cover your hair with!!

grey. [matches virtually every winter color]

Add a headband to the front of a crocheted hat!

It gives it a versatile option :)

pink. [the most girly & amazing color ever invented]

Celebrating a cold winter with a cool style <3

Hello there beautiful!

SORRY LADIES!! Last week was the blessed, most stressful, most intense week of the year, FINALS! They greet our household about 3 times a year. My husband and I turned into studying, coffee drinking, and eating pros. So hence the reason for my absence! But I am back in action :)

Now... This is kind of not related to apostolic hair... But kinda!Brendan and I took Christmas pics last week and I LOVE how my 12 min quickie hair do turned out! I thought it was gonna look rough lol..

Hair Tip#2: Modest Additions

I am not a huge fan of big and gaudy!

But I am much more a fan of

classic and simple.

In this case,

less is more :)

Here is an awesome way to add a little something to your natural hair do. Just a simple flower, feather or crocheted masterpiece. There are so many options to suit what you like! Silk scarves, felt headbands and flowers, crocheted bows and flowers, etc. The list goes on and on.....
