Video Tutorial: High Bun (2 Variations)

Hello ladies! As promised, I have put together a video tutorial of how to to a high bun.

This is a super easy and quick style. They are great for every day and you can dress them up for church too!

You will find that no matter the length of your hair, you will be able to rock one of the versions of the high bun. I hope you all attempt this style soon!

Hair Tip #17: Chopsticks

I LOVE high buns.
     I LOVE low buns.
         I LOVE curly buns.
             I LOVE sleek buns.

And with my buns,

I LOVE CHOPSTICKS!!

I only own one pair of black. I think the plain ones look very classy.

 But they do make many chopsticks with embellishments.

 If you find some plain ones, you can embellish them on your own.

All you need is a hot glue gun and creativity.

Hair Tip #6: Quick Hair-Do, Bun

I never have enough time!
24 hours a day is simply not enough time!
I somehow always end up with about
5-7 minutes to style my hair...
So what do I do?...

* One hair tie

*6 bobby pins (not even lol)

* Gel

*Water

Protective Style: High Bun

Ever seen a pentecostal style protective do??

NOW you have :)

Cute, big and my ends are protected! It doesn't get any better than this. Personally, I love high buns and big hair. Well this hairstyle makes me feel like I have big and high hair for sure. It is so easy to do!!

How to make a bun:
-Make sure your hair is wet and detangled
-Pull your hair into a puff (see tutorial or blog post for more info)
-Pull out the middle of the puff and section it off with a hair tie
-Moving in a circular clockwise motion, wrap your hair around smoothing your hair down into a bun. Use bobby pins to secure
-Once the bun is finished, grab the center part of the hair, wrap it around your fingers into a bun and tuck under. Secure it with pins!

**kudos for creativity! I made the hair accessory and added the ruffle to my cardigan with some leftover scrap fabric**
