A Week of Protective Styling: Day 2 Style

You get me bright and early every morning for 7 day. I look super tired in this one lol
! But once again I'm giving you a 5 minute style!

Today I just braided 3 sections of twists. I pulled the two side sections back and the section in the middle went into a pin curl. The using a hair tie, I pulled the rest into a ponytail. I used bobby pins to tuck my ends under into a bun. I find this is less stressful on my ends! I added a small hair assessory that I made and called it a day!

So enjoy! This one is super easy :)

Ways to modify this style:
  • If your hair will not go into a bun yet, just pin it up in the back
  • If you hair is very short, you can just pin back a few pieces on the sides and leave the rest down

Protective Style: Halo Inspired Hair :)

Want a cute and quick protective style for a few days?
I saw this style and made it my own :)

HOW TO DO IT:

(1) Part your hair into 3 sections. Pull out your bangs for section one, and then separate the back of your hair into two sections as if you are going to do two french braids.

(2) Pin the front section out of the way. You will do the front last!

(3) Make sure the back section is detangled. My hair was in a twist out, so I just sprayed it down with my leave in and finger combed it out.

(4) Twist back one of the two sections. Secure the twist with pins.

(5) Repeat for the second section.

(6) Pull the hanging hair into a low bun. Make sure your ends are tucked under! Secure with a hair tie and hair pins!

(7) To style the front. Flat twist it to head and twist the remaining hair all the way down to the end. Wrap the twist into a pin curl. Coil it around itself.

Inspiration!

Enjoy!!!!

Hairstyle #5, Twists with Flat Twists and Twist Bang

Say whaaaaat?? Sounds super duper complicated. All this twisted twisty twist stuff!! Well basically if you're tired of the same ole' twist protective style, here is an easy way to mix it up. This style actually saved me about 30 minutes of twist time!

So what is it??

Alright so basically you

(1) Section of your hair, into two parts
(as if you were doing a half up half down style)

(2) Part the top section into 3 parts
Two for the flat twists
One for the bang-
where you want it to lie

(3) Twist the back of your hair in
medium-small twists

(4) Flat twist the top on both sides

(5) Twist your bang

WALAH!!

Ok, now watch the tutorial for more help if you need it!
