Hair Tip #1:
Want to avoid excess breakage on your ends and your edges??
Want to avoid excess breakage on your ends and your edges??
Tying up your hair at night is a must!!
- Avoid cotton bandanna's!!! Look for satin and silk!
- Find what works for YOU, or find SEVERAL options that work!
- Some options are better than others depending on the style you are trying to preserve!
Satin Bonnet
Convenient, easy to use, comfortable and stays on all night! (for me anyway)
Perfect for twist outs, braid outs, twists and braids.
You can find it less than $3 at most places!!
Silk Scarf or a Do Rag
Perfect for laying down edges! If you are a hard sleeper it can easily
slide off so beware! And if tied too tight it can cause a headache lol.
But its great for slick styles, cornrows, flat twists, etc
Silk or Satin Pillowcase
This is another easy option. If you aren't in the mood to tie up your hair
you can rest easy knowing you aren't pulling out hair all night on your pillowcase
Celebrating happy, healthy and long hair :)
