Bison RMBs

The boys each enjoyed a bison RMB for supper last night, courtesy of our new meat buddy, Jen!

They are GREAT. Huge gobs of meat still on the bone. Just perfect! Thanks Jen (and Spike and Sophie for sharing your haul. Hope you enjoyed the sheep.).

The boys dug in with gusto! Love that bison! But, while normal RMB chewing is fun and all ...

... it just lacks a certain ... style ... flare ... synchronicity?

Gio and Romeo now present, for the first time on Life is Better with Sheltie Hair ...

SYNCHRONIZED RMB-ING!

Ready ... and ...

To your right, two, three, four

Center, two, three, four

To your left, two, three, four

Sure, their routine could use a little work. But for a first time, not too bad, right?!

While they enjoyed their bison, I made my own little treat. Sour cream cookies! YUM!

Someone gave me the Stank Eye!!

This is totally off topic. But here we go - I kind of have a large chest, always have. I've had my ups and downs with excepting my chest size and it is definitely a continuous work in progress. Just to give you an idea, my bra cup size is a 38 G. Crazy right? Any way... Right before my periods (which is right now), they will get bigger because of water gain. Not much I can do about it. So today, I left for my daily work out. As I was walking, I did not notice that I had dropped some money by accident.

So a nice guy, yelled out for me to hold up. And then he helped me pick up my money. I was very grateful, so when we both stood up, I said "Thank you very much!" Because he could have stayed quite and just pocketed the money. I notice right away that he had a lady friend with him, so I made sure to look her directly in the eyes, and I gave her a genuine smile, as I thanked them both.

Why did she look at my chest, then at me, and give me the Stank Eye!!! .... lol. Wow sis, what did I do to you? Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. I try to be as friendly as possible with folks. And occasionally I get someone that will judge me because of my large boobies. I think I should right a song about it. Instead of India Arie's "I am not my hair", it will be "I am not by boobs, I am not your expectations...". O well, you can't please everyone all the time. I can laugh about it now, but that don't still doesn't make it right. :-P

This isn't me in this photo, but I completely agree with the shirts message.

Kirkland for hair growth4
Im 23 and started losing my hair a few years ago in the front. I have a really bad receding hairline so I shopped around and found kirklands extra strength minoxodil. Its not intended for frontal baldness but I used it anyway and in 2 months I have natural colered hairs where they should be! My natural hairline is full of small hairs. They are small and are just now starting to really grow but they are there. I bought a 4 month supply for the cost of a 1 or 2 month supply of rogaine so Im ready to see what happens in the next 2 months. I wouldnt fool with the regular strength when the extra strength works so well. One of the reasons it works so well for me is because im young and everyone is different but I would definetley recommend this product.

Battling Baldness3
Minoxidil 5% Extra Strength Hair Regrowth Treatment for Men - 6 bottles, 6 Month Supply
I've used Minoxidil 5% for over 4 years. The choice of Minoxidil was a no-brainer for me. Just the thought of surgery on my scalp would cause me to lose all of my hair. Prescription medicine had unmentionable side effects. So I chose Minoxidil, which has left me with thin but ever-present hair on top to dazzle the ladies. And it's easy on my wallet (cheaper than Rogaine).

This product works!5
As a hairdresser for over 40 years, I will tell you that this product works! It is 5% of what you will pay for Rogaine and it is the exact same ingredient. Thanks to Kirkland for being a company with integrity and charging a fair price for a fair product. I tell all my clients about Kirkland Minoxidil.

A detailed review of a great product5
After going on a cruise and getting sun burn on the back top of my head, I thought I better do something about it. I never lost more then 50%, and my spot wasnt more then 2 inchs across, much like that guy in the comercial. I have always had thin hair compared to my friends, but I didn't want to be at my wedding with a bald head. I am 26 now, I keep in very good shape, and eat super healthy. I thought that that might be important to note.

First, if the smell bothers you, then I bet you can even step outside in the spring without complaining. I NEVER smelled anything on the pillow as long as I let it dry. It dries within minutes, and can be combed easily. Just make sure you WASH YOUR HANDS. If you don't, and you put your fingers in your mouth for any reason, the taste will be with you for hours!

I would apply just like the directions said, twice a day(I started once a day in the morning later on, see below explanation). I would put the can in cold water in the sink to cool it inside while I showered, then run my fingers under cold water. It wouldn't melt away this way. The only problem I found was it seems that half a cap full wasn't enough, but the little cans held a lot. I think that half a cap full is more a mental thing then anything else, I just wanted to apply more then it instructed me to do so. It only takes 2 minutes in the morning at most, it becomes part of your day just like brushing your teeth.

After four months, I begin using Kirkland's 5% solution at night to save money, since I didn't need it to dry as fast at night. By doing this now the Rogaine can is lasting maybe a month and three weeks. It's cheaper and I don't have to worry if im using too much. I also used Kirkland all over my head in places I wasnt loosing hair, and its really made my hair thicker, like it hurts to brush now. Since they really dont know how rogaine works, I think me putting it over my head is just enlarging the hair I already have and making it not fall out as fast, but I dont know..

After 3 months I had re-growth, with about 65-75% coverage compared to my original 50%. Its also important to know that I bought a mirror to make sure I was applying it right. I asked the person who cuts my hair and she said that I had small hairs growing.

After 4 months I had more re-growth, with maybe 75-80% coverage.

After 6 months, I can't honestly tell even under bright light where my bald spot is. I can't believe that in 5-6 short months my hair completely has grown back. It is actually kind of frustrating because now that its grown back, I wish I didnt need the rogaine anymore, but sigh I will need it the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well until science clones hairs to put on my head!

ALSO, important to note!!! I also begin using head and shoulders. Most people think this is a dandruff shampoo, which it is, but it cures your of dandruff by taking care of your scalp. I also started taking a nutritional supplement called "Hair, Skin and Nails", I bought at Wal-Mart. I noticed that after 3 months my hair just seemed healthier, and grew alot faster. I also begin using Saw Palmetto Pills once a morning, 540 milligrams. People say this blocks DHT, I have no idea whether they did anything or not, but my hair is thinker all over.

I hope this helps

IT WORKS5
I just used up three bottles of rogaine. I use it twice a day for almost three months and more thicker hair show up at the back top of my balding head which covers about three to four inches in diameter. The growth seems to be still uneven. I still have fine hair of some of the spots which hopefully it evens up with the rest of the hair for the next three month of use.

Great5
My husband loves this product. He thinks it's really giving him results and he prefers it to the liquid version.

What is "Minoxidil" ???

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Minoxidil
(trade names Rogaine and Regaine) is a vasodilator medication known for its ability to slow or stop hair loss and promote hair regrowth. It is available over the counter for treatment of androgenic alopecia, among other baldness treatments, but measurable changes disappear within months after discontinuation of treatment.

History
=======================================================

Minoxidil was first used by (trade name Loniten) to treat high blood pressure. It was, however, discovered to have an interesting side-effect: the ability to reverse or slow down the balding process. Upjohn Corporation produced a topical solution that contained 2% minoxidil to be used to treat baldness and hair loss, under the brand name Rogaine in the United States and Canada, and Regaine in Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Treatments usually include a 5% concentration solution that is designed for men, whereas the 2% concentration solutions are designed for women. The patent on minoxidil expired on February 13, 1996.

In 2007 a new foam-based formulation of 5% minoxidil was shown to be as effective as the liquid-based treatment for male pattern baldness.

While the drug is available in the United Kingdom, it cannot be prescribed on the NHS, so patients must either buy it over-the-counter or have a private prescription for it.
